What To Do with Zimmerman?

Zimmerman is maybe the streakiest player I’ve ever seen. He can give you months of an unbelievable bat, like last year when he went .330 with 19 Home Runs and 62 RBIs before the All-Star break. However, he can also give you some deep, deep slumps, like so far this year with a .191 BA (9th worst in the NL). Typically, the organization and fans seem to ignore when Zimm is doing nothing but leaving runners on base and grounding into DPs. But this year, the Nats at least showed some sign of a shake up to get him going, batting him 2nd in the lineup. Personally, I’d move him down the lineup before moving him up, but I’m sure Davey knows something I don’t. We’ll see what happens in the upcoming weeks, but there’s going to be a tough decision that needs to be made when Murphy comes back from the DL if this continues..
