Finally. Pitchers and catchers are officially reporting to the Nationals Spring Training facility in Viera, Florida. And that means the 2013 Nationals campaign is now here.
Ever since that chilly Friday night back in October when everything came crashing to an end, this day has been on the horizon as a sort of beacon to pull us out of the offseason darkness. New players have come and old favorites are gone. But the 2013 season is one full of promise.
The motto for the season–World Series or Bust!–surrounds Davey Johnson as he enters his final season as the skipper for the Nats. 2013 will be a crazy season. A season of an unrestricted Strasburg. A surge in the National Det. A season for Gio to prove how dominant of a pitcher he really is.
This is the Nationals’ year. It’s time for it to begin. Nationals fans, it’s time to IGNITE YOUR NATITUDE.
